Teo Han Wue is a writer and art critic. He has written art reviews for The Straits Times, where he was editor of its Bilingual Section and head of translation. He was a former Director at the National Arts Council, and Art Retreat, Singapore's first private museum of Asian and Southeast Asian Art. Mr Teo has written extensively about visual artists like Wu Guanzhong, Lee Man Fong, Chua Ek Kay, Lim Tze Peng and Tang Da Wu in English and Chinese for publications at home and abroad. Teo has sat on the panels for Art Conversation sessions for Sambal Goreng (2019), Time and Space (2021), both at Maya Gallery Singapore.
