Vanessa Yeo (b. 1984) is a freelance curator and art writer. She graduated from an MA in Asian Art Histories from LASALLE College of the Arts in 2022 where she explored the role and significance of nature in sculpture. Her recent work includes curating Wild Fragments by Valerie Ng (2022) and Hitam Putih by Idris Ali (2023), both at Maya Gallery Singapore, and an exhibition review for Plural Art Mag.
She was also the curator for "Huu Nghi: Singapore & Vietnam 50-10 Exhibition" (2023) organised by Maya Gallery Singapore and Chau & Co Gallery, with the support of the Singapore Embassy in Vietnam. The exhibition was a celebration of cultural unity and diplomatic partnership and held at the prestigious Vietnam Fine Arts Museum in Hanoi to commemorate the 50th anniversary of bilateral relations between Singapore and Vietnam, and the 10th anniversary of their strategic partnership.
